Amani Baby Cottage
Since its inception, Amani has cared for over 460 children and successfully reunited or placed more than 400 into forever homes—either through reunification with birth families or adoption. Every child comes with a unique story. Some arrive after very troubling circumstances—abandonment, abuse, poverty, or medical crises such as malaria, premature birth, or HIV+. Amani’s team of licensed social workers and nurses carefully assess and attends to each child's physical and emotional needs!

As the social media manager for Amani Baby Cottage, you steward its Instagram presence—helping to amplify the organization's message of love, care, and hope. The official Instagram account effectively underscores Amani’s mission: “A Place of Peace since 2003 | Jinja, Uganda – Caring for orphaned & vulnerable children through love, reunification & adoption.” We bring the work of Amani to life through engaging posts, updates, heartfelt stories, and meaningful calls to action, helping to expand its reach and foster community support.
While we cannot physically be in Uganda to serve alongside Amani Baby Cottage, our heart is to ensure these children are seen, supported, and cared for. Through managing their social media, we work to build awareness and create the traction needed so that Amani is properly funded and every child has the opportunity to thrive.
